Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Activity Director to join our team at Brentwood Place Four, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Certified Activity Director, you will play a vital role in designing and coordinating a wide range of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to improve the physical, emotional, and cognitive well‑being of our residents.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive activity program that promotes resident engagement, socialization, and overall well‑being
- Conduct needs assessments to identify resident interests and preferences, and develop programs that cater to their unique needs
- Coordinate and lead activities such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, parties, and special events
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare professionals, to ensure that activities are aligned with individual resident care plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports of activity participation, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes
- Develop and manage activity budgets, scheduling, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
- Certified Activity Director (CAD) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field preferred
- 0-1 year of experience in activity direction or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
