Overview

As Global Partner Engagement & Activation Director, you will own the strategic frameworks that define how Sage engages, activates, and scales its global partner ecosystem. You will set the global partner messaging foundation, drive partner engagement and activation at scale, build listening vehicles, and translate insight into industry go-to-market execution through partnerships, accelerating partner led growth and measurable impact.

Location

This is a Hybrid role based on site three days per week in Atlanta, GA or San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, Enablement, and Events to deliver a cohesive, high-impact global partner engagement experience.
  • Own Sage’s global partner engagement strategy, ensuring communications align with the corporate narrative, partner strategy, and commercial priorities.
  • Define and govern a scalable partner engagement framework adopted consistently across Sage business units.
  • Champion the partner voice across the organization, ensuring engagement strategies reflect partner needs, market dynamics, and commercial realities.
  • Oversee the global partner engagement calendar, driving visibility, prioritization, and cadence for strategic messaging and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic and editorial leadership for partner communications, reinforcing Sage’s value proposition and strengthening partner understanding and engagement.
  • Establish data-driven measurement frameworks to evaluate engagement effectiveness and continuously optimize through analytics and partner feedback.
  • Lead executive-level partner engagement programs and digital channels, including the evolution of the partner portal, to deliver modern, high-value partner experiences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in partner strategy or leadership, with strong understanding of partner ecosystems, sales enablement, and go-to-market models, and the ability to translate commercial strategy into clear partner messaging.
  • Strong understanding of industry led Go-to-Market models and partner driven growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across complex cross functional teams.
  • Extensive experience leading B2B engagement and messaging at a strategic level, within a partner, channel, or ecosystem driven environment.
  • Exceptional Executive level stakeholder influence and strategic storytelling capability
  • Proven success operating within a matrixed, global organization, balancing regional needs with global consistency.
  • Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.

Compensation

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. For this role, in these locations, the base salary range for new hires is: $180,000 to $235,000.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package.
