The Director of Web and SEO Strategies will be a strategic, performance-driven leader responsible for a wide range of areas, including: Enhancing visibility, rankings, and traffic through organic search and directory listings. Improving website user experience and conversion rates. Overseeing website content and functionality enhancements. Managing customer surveys, reviews, and reputation. This impactful role focuses on maximizing brand visibility, driving website traffic from organic channels, and fostering customer growth through localized, on-page, and off-page initiatives. As we expand, you will lead our next phase of organic growth by leveraging AI-driven insights and scalable content systems. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our brand's competitive edge in search and AI insights. Duties and Responsibilities Strategy & Execution Develop and execute a comprehensive website and SEO performance roadmap, focusing on technical, content, local SEO initiatives and reputation management. Oversee SEO content strategies, including keyword targeting and scalable content optimization frameworks. Manage relationships with SEO vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business objectives. Stay abreast of algorithm updates and market trends, incorporating changes into actionable SEO strategies. Organize and prioritize projects to support revenue and customer growth, linking day-to-day tasks to company goals while developing team members through ongoing feedback and growth opportunities. Local & Multi-Location SEO Implement scalable strategies for store location presence and customer reviews to enhance visibility and trust. Boost web sessions and engagements through organic and referral traffic. Collaborate with customer experience and technology teams to improve local SEO performance through reputation management. Technical SEO & Website Performance Analyze the customer journey to identify and improve conversion rates with the media and technology teams. Conduct regular technical audits to identify website improvement opportunities. Work closely with technology teams to enhance technical SEO and implement UI/UX website enhancements. AI & Automation Integration Explore AI tools for content quality assurance and large-scale keyword management. Automate SEO workflows and scale insights across content and technical areas. Measurement & Optimization Conduct continuous testing and experimentation to improve performance. Monitor SEO performance metrics and respond to changes in algorithms effectively. Market Research & Trends Stay updated on SEO trends and competitive strategies. Identify innovation areas for testing, including backlink opportunities with industry partners. Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in SEO and website performance in enterprise environments. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with teams across marketing and technology. Experience in agile environments and translating SEO initiatives into actionable plans. Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, and more. Familiarity with CMS platforms and foundational knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Understanding of large-scale directory listing management. Strong technical knowledge in web architecture and SEO best practices. Ability to analyze complex data and present actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills suitable for varied audiences. Proficient in project management tools like Jira and Asana.
