GENERAL SUMMARY The IS Interface and Integration Analyst I provides entry-level support for system integrations that enable secure and reliable data exchange across clinical, financial, and operational platforms. This role exists to support accurate and timely information flow between the electronic medical record and connected applications, devices, and third-party systems while learning integration tools and healthcare standards. The position focuses on monitoring, basic troubleshooting, documentation, and assisting with interface builds and testing in healthcare environment operating constantly. The role works under close guidance from senior analysts and collaborates with technical teams and stakeholders to support patient care and operational efficiency. Reports to departmental leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with building, supporting, and troubleshooting system interfaces and integrations using interface engines and middleware platforms, including Cloverleaf and comparable technologies, under direct supervision. Supports electronic medical record interfaces, including Epic Bridges interfaces, by assisting with configuration, testing, and basic data flow validation between Epic and ancillary systems. Supports integrations involving Epic-adjacent and interoperability platforms such as Connexall and CareAware, including basic monitoring and issue identification. Monitors interface performance, message flow, and error queues, and escalates issues according to established procedures. Assists with interface testing, validation, upgrades, and go-live activities, and maintains accurate documentation and operational records. Collaborates with team members, vendors, and application partners to learn integration workflows and follow established standards and processes. Performs all other duties as assigned.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Required Licenses and/or Certifications Epic Certification training should be attended at the first available class, and certification/accreditation in the applicable module(s) must be current or obtained within 30 calendar days of completing training.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Required Education and Experience Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Information Systems, or a related field required, or relevant combination of education and experience At least 1 year of experience required of system integration support.

Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Exposure to Epic electronic medical record systems, Epic Bridges, or formal Epic integration training preferred. Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as Health Level Seven version 2 (HL7 v2) or Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) preferred. Experience working in a hospital, health system, or regulated technology environment preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic understanding of system integrations, interfaces, and data exchange concepts. Ability to follow documented procedures and learn complex technical workflows in a regulated healthcare environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to maintain accurate documentation. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and seek guidance when appropriate.

WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
