Job Title: Blaze Support Representative (Grills & Outdoor Kitchen Product Support) Department: Customer Support Reports to: Technical Support Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Hybrid – Baton Rouge, LA or Alpharetta, GA or REMOTE
The Technical Support Representative is the first point of contact for Blaze and is responsible for assisting end-consumers, distributors, and retailers with product troubleshooting, identifying issues with products, warranty claims, and other miscellaneous requests. This position is hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
Services customers by resolving product and service problems with their outdoor appliances.
Identifies issues regarding gas flow within a grill/side burner/griddle by troubleshooting.
Identifies and troubleshoots issues with all Blaze products such as electric smoker, electric grill, vent hoods, gas grills/burners, storage components, and/or refrigeration/icemaker.
Becoming familiar with our outdoor kitchen appliances as well as the warranty policy and implementing this daily while handling various product warranty claims.
Answering phone calls, emails, and chats in a timely manner.
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
Assisting with technical issues related to manufacturer-specific products.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
