As an In‑Room Dining Server at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, you’ll deliver meals, amenities, and special requests directly to guest rooms — transforming simple dining moments into elevated hotel experiences. Located in the heart of downtown and steps from the Superdome, our property welcomes travelers from around the world. What You’ll Do
Deliver food, beverages, and amenities to guest rooms with professionalism and efficiency Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and presented to Hyatt brand standards Provide menu guidance, take in‑room dining orders, and communicate special requests Set up in‑room dining tables or tray service to enhance the guest experience Retrieve used trays and carts promptly to maintain a clean hotel environment Assist with prep work, polishing items, stocking supplies, and maintaining work areas Handle guest concerns with courtesy, urgency, and effective problem‑solving Collaborate with culinary, stewarding, and front‑of‑house teams to support smooth operations Uphold the warm, guest‑focused service that defines the Hyatt Regency New Orleans At Hyatt, we care for people so they can be their best — and that includes every colleague who joins our team. Strong communication and guest‑service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Previous food & beverage or hotel experience preferred Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming personality Ability to push/pull carts and lift food trays as needed Comfort with handling cash, payments, and POS systems Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
