Successful candidate will possess a valid Illinois PEL that has been registered through ISBE ELIS and Champaign-Ford ROE which contains a self-contained K-9 endorsement. Salary Range:
$67,500.00 - $72,500.00 The final compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience. Employee health insurance is provided by the district.

Report to:
PBL Junior High and High School Principals and Superintendent
Duties: Leadership Serve as the primary voice of PBL Athletics and Activities, providing clear, proactive, and professional communication to coaches, sponsors, faculty, parents, and the media.
Navigate sensitive complex decisions, sensitive situations and conflict resolution with a focus on "students-first" outcomes.
Focus on improving and advancing the athletic and activities programs.
Actively promote the achievements of our student participants and programs to the broader district and community.
Supervise, manage, and observe all coaching staff and sponsors, including at practices, competitions, and other school-sponsored events.
Conduct meaningful end of season meetings with coaches to discuss season results, areas of program growth, recruitment, etc.
Monitor and enforce all policies and procedures found within the PBL CUSD 10 Extra-Curricular Handbook.
Collaborate with transportation, maintenance, and other necessary personnel.
Work closely with the Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Student Activities and school administrators regularly to ensure the success of all 6-12 athletics/activities.
Strong Communication Communicate effectively and professionally with coaches, sponsors, athletes, parents, faculty, district administration, and other district stakeholders.
Utilize all school-sponsored social media platforms to their fullest potential to promote programs and activities.
Organizational and Time Management Maintain the master schedules for all athletic/activity events, including bus departures, event start times, and facility needs.
Organize the district vehicle calendar.
Maintain accuracy in student-athlete eligibility, IHSA/IESA compliance, and safety certifications.
Commitment to Student Development Demonstrate a strong commitment to the academic and athletic success of students involved in extra- and co-curricular activities.
Foster a collaborative environment where sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic achievement are the standard.

Personal Days 2 personal days per year. May accumulate up to 7 personal days. After 7 personal days accumulated, the 2 personal days are added to sick leave.
Bi-Monthly Payrolls 24 payrolls per fiscal year. Pay days are on the 15th and 30th of each month. If these days fall on a weekend, pay day is the Friday before.
