Job Description Summary The Director of University Galleries is a staff position responsible for curating, designing and producing exhibitions in the university’s gallery spaces, coordinating with external professionals and liaising with internal university constituents, writing gallery materials, and managing gallery affairs.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Curatorial skills, general artistic knowledge, gallery practices and skills, promotional and expository writing skills, basic construction skills, photographic skills, art collection management and inventory skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Specialized training with diverse populations and in an academic setting.

Experience working with diverse populations and in an academic setting.

Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through policy interpretation and interpersonal interactions.

Familiarity with adjunct faculty contract preparation and processing.

Familiarity with full-time faculty overload contract preparation and processing.

Experience using ADP and FLAC via EllucIan Banner.
