About the Role The

Director of Business Operations & Finance

will play a central role in improving how the company tracks performance, manages priorities, and builds operational discipline. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and able to translate business activity into better reporting, stronger accountability, and more informed decisions.

You will work across departments to improve how information is gathered, how results are reviewed, and how operational and financial priorities stay aligned.

Candidates should be open to establishing themselves in Chattanooga as the role evolves over the first year.

Key Responsibilities

Support business planning through improved operational and financial reporting

Build and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and recurring reporting processes

Partner with leadership to monitor performance trends, risks, and opportunities

Improve coordination between daily operations and broader business goals

Assist in strengthening budget awareness, forecasting inputs, and resource planning

Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements across departments

Help standardize operating reviews, follow‑up, and accountability practices

Organize data and workflows in a way that helps teams make faster, better decisions

Experience in business operations, finance operations, or operational leadership

Strong background in reporting, analysis, and process improvement

Ability to work across functions and organize complex information clearly

Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or business performance tracking

Comfort with spreadsheets, dashboards, and operational systems

Real estate, property management, or project-based business experience is a plus

Compensation

This role offers a base salary of

$90,000 annually , plus performance‑based incentives, with

total annual earnings potential of $130,000 to $180,000 .

Comp includes performance incentives tied directly to measurable outcomes.
