is seeking a
Music Theatre Director
to support our upcoming youth production of
Beetlejuice JR.
and help create an engaging, confidence-building experience for performers ages 6–16.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about musical theatre, youth development, and collaborative creative work.
The Music Theatre Director provides musical leadership throughout rehearsals and performances by:
Coaching singers and ensembles
Supporting musical preparation for performances
Collaborating with the production team to create a positive rehearsal environment
Rehearsals:
Tuesday–Thursday, 4:00–6:15 PM April 28 – June 11 (flexible attendance; not required at every rehearsal)
Tech Week:
June 15–18, 4:00–7:00 PM
Performances: June 19 at 7:30 PM June 20 & 21 at 2:00 PM

At least
one year of experience working with children ; preference given to candidates with arts or theatre programming experience
Experience working with youth in theatre or structured programs
Strong piano skills and vocal coaching ability
Ability to engage and inspire young performers
Creative, collaborative, and supportive leadership style
Must be able to lift a minimum of
30 lbs
Ability to respond appropriately and immediately to unexpected situations, both physically and mentally
