The Hilton Irvine seeks a Temporary Sales Coordinator. Located within a few miles of Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza, and the Irvine Spectrum, our property features 306 guest rooms, over 22,000 square feet of event space, and 8 meeting rooms.
Wage:
$21.42 – $26.78 per hour
Schedule:
8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Ideal Candidate
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in guest service and group sales is a plus.
Ability to manage deadlines and timelines effectively.
Responsibilities
Initiate reservations for group attendees, prepare rooming lists, revise existing reservations, and build group blocks in the PMS as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact after a client signs the proposal.
Assist Sales Managers with site inspections, visiting guest rooms, meeting spaces, banquet facilities, and other hotel amenities.
Perform data entry in Delphi, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Copy, distribute, and file internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, resumes, room lists, schedules, and mail; handle faxing and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail.
Answer telephone calls and assist internal and external guests with requests.
