About the Opportunity This role exists to lead the technology product management function by defining product vision and strategy, developing high performing product teams, and partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver impactful, internally developed software solutions

What will you be doing?

Ensure consistent, high-quality product backlog processes and practices across teams, including well-defined user stories, features, bugs, and technical initiatives.

Guide prioritization decisions to maximize business value, manage dependencies, and support timely delivery of the roadmap.

Provide strategic feedback and governance on backlog health, prioritization frameworks, and delivery outcomes.

Build, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of product owners responsible for IT and software products.

Establish clear expectations, career paths, and performance standards for the product team.

Foster a culture of customer‑centricity, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.

Own and articulate the long‑term product vision and strategy aligned with business and technology objectives.

Balance competing priorities, constraints, and opportunities to determine product direction and investment decisions.

Develop, maintain, and communicate multi‑year product roadmaps to leadership, stakeholders, and delivery teams.

Cross‑Functional Partnering

Act as a senior product voice with business leaders, technology leaders, and key stakeholders.

Deeply understand product capabilities and limitations, user needs, business processes, and strategic goals to shape solutions that address root problems and improve outcomes.

Prioritize features and improvements based on ROI and business need and own the product roadmap and delivery schedule.

Coach and mentor product owners to strengthen discovery practices, stakeholder engagement, and product decision‑making.

Implement & Improve Processes

Define, implement, and refine product management standards, tools, and operating models.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, predictability, and effectiveness across product discovery, delivery, and lifecycle management.

Ensure alignment with SDLC, agile, and release management practices across teams.

Enable & Support Development Teams

Partner closely with business stakeholders as well as engineering and architecture leaders to ensure clarity of requirements and timely decision‑making.

Remove obstacles and provide guidance to keep teams moving quickly and effectively.

Collaborate on cross‑team processes such as release planning, dependency management, and requirements definition.

What education or experience is required? Required:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent experience

Eight (8+) years of experience in technology/software product manager

Three (3+) years of experience leading product managers or product teams.

Strong mastery of the SDLC and the delivery of complex, web‑based software or enterprise systems.

Preferred:

Prior experience with products subject to compliance and security frameworks such as PCI‑DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.

Prior experience with healthcare applications and familiarity with HIPAA

Experience partnering with executive leadership and managing enterprise‑scale product portfolios

Project/Product Management Certification
