The segment has over 200 employees based in New York, London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Fund or Department Description The Carlyle AlpInvest Investor Relations(“IR”) team is responsible for IR-related activities across the segment, as well as new business development and fundraising activities across both its flagship fund products, as well as multi-strategy solutions for both institutional and private wealth client bases. Position Summary Carlyle AlpInvest seeks to hire three Analyst Product Specialists for our Investor Relations team, with each role aligned to a distinct strategy vertical across the platform: (i) Portfolio Finance and Credit Secondaries, (ii) Private Wealth strategies, and (iii) the Secondary platform. While each role will have a primary strategy focus, all Analysts will gain exposure to the full suite of Carlyle AlpInvest’s investment strategies, including Co-Investment, Secondaries, Portfolio Finance, Credit Secondaries, and Primary Investments. The Analyst supporting the Portfolio Finance and Credit Secondaries platform will focus on one of the firm’s newest and fastest-growing strategies, which represents a key pillar of growth across the firm. As a longstanding leader in structuring customized liquidity solutions for the private equity ecosystem, Carlyle AlpInvest delivers innovative credit and preferred equity capital solutions to private equity funds, general partners (GPs), and limited partners (LPs). The Analyst supporting Private Wealth strategies will play a key role in advancing the firm’s growing Private Wealth channel, while also contributing across AlpInvest’s broader product offerings. This role will help drive strategic initiatives across the segment and support engagement with Carlyle’s Global Wealth Sales professionals. The Analyst supporting the Secondaries platform will focus on a flagship strategy that recently raised $20bn in its latest fundraising cycle, supporting ongoing fundraising efforts across both Institutional and Private Wealth channels. Across all roles, Analysts will be primarily responsible for supporting product development, fundraising, and client service efforts globally across Institutional, Retail, and Insurance investor channels. The position will provide key support to Senior Product Specialists, including driving strategic initiatives, coordinating and responding to investor diligence requests, preparing bespoke analyses, and supporting marketing and fundraising materials. Analysts will also serve as internal product experts, partnering with sales teams and collaborating broadly across the firm. Over time, Analysts are expected to interact with both existing limited partners and prospective investors, while building deep expertise across AlpInvest’s strategies. Successful candidates will be self-starters capable of proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement, anticipating business and client needs, and prioritizing across multiple projects, all while consistently delivering high-quality work product in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities
Carlyle AlpInvest Product Specialist support Drafting and positioning of marketing materials for AlpInvest funds and new product initiatives Preparation and updating of marketing/fundraising materials, due diligence request responses/presentations, RFIs and RFPs Support development of due diligence materials and legal documentation Help support syndication efforts of co-investment opportunities for financings Attend pipeline calls and investment committee meetings to stay current on investment opportunities Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support the development and strategic positioning of new and existing product lines Lead various diligence requests from investors, as well as ad hoc investor requests Handle on-going and ad hoc investor requests Maintenance of data room materials and investor access Maintenance of investor pipelines and diligence request trackers Assist segment leadership with new product and strategy initiatives, and presentations to Firm leadership Work with senior leadership to support key presentations internally and externally CRM maintenance Investor Meetings & Events Assist with onsite investor meetings and conferences Act as a subject matter expert on AlpInvest’s investment strategies Develop an understanding of the existing assets and portfolios the firm is managing Stay current on the shifting market environment in which AlpInvest is actively investing Translate AlpInvest’s investment thesis and underwriting ethos into content suitable for a wide range of investor channels and varying levels of sophistication Serve as internal expert on AlpInvest products to support the global Sales team Qualifications
Education & Certificates Series 7 and 63 required or to be obtained within 90 days of commencement Professional Experience

Advanced Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) skills required CRM system including DealCloud is preferred Ability to quickly develop competency in manipulating various reporting platforms and systems to obtain usable LP data The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $105,000. In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs.
