
Human Resources Specialist

As the HR representative at the company, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Pure Lithium’s HR function, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance and policy implementation. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will have a direct and immediate impact on the organization while ensuring a positive and robust employee experience.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment process for all roles, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy administration, and offboardings.
Lead the new hire experience, ensuring all onboarding activities, training sessions, and compliance requirements are completed.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with technical leadership to ensure employees are administered proper training and certifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR‑related questions and support.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee data within our HRIS and personnel files.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the national, state, and local level.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, documentation, and data integrity across the Human Resources function.
Assist in developing training programs to support employee growth and development.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
Manage employee lifecycle initiatives such as performance reviews, annual trainings, open enrollment, and other HR projects.
Build scalable processes and contribute to the Human Resources roadmap that evolves alongside the company’s growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
3‑5 years of experience in Human Resources.
Experience in a fast‑paced startup environment or small business is a plus.
Strong knowledge of best Human Resource processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with ambiguity.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Technical knowledge of the battery or renewable energy industries is a strong plus.
Experience with employee benefits, and HR administration.
Incredibly organized and efficient and good at adapting to a fast‑paced start‑up

About Pure Lithium The base salary pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Pure Lithium is a disruptive vertically integrated lithium metal battery technology company. Pure lithium combines lithium extraction, anode and battery production to produce the next‑generation lithium metal battery, a step change improvement over today’s lithium‑ion battery.
