first-time operators completing their first project to experienced sponsors closing dozens of transactions per year.
To support our continued growth, we are hiring this
Loan Processing Analyst
role.
This role is an
important part of our company’s expansion . As deal volume grows, the efficiency and organization of our loan processing function becomes increasingly critical to keeping our pipeline moving and ensuring a smooth experience for borrowers and capital partners.
The work you do will be
directly tied to the company’s success . Loan processing sits at the center of the deal pipeline, and strong execution in this role directly impacts how efficiently deals move from application to closing.
For candidates who perform well, this role can lead to
advancement into a Senior Processor role or an Account Executive position
within the company.
What You’ll Do Loan Processing and Pipeline Management
Collect, organize, and verify borrower documentation
Send clients clear checklists outlining documentation requirements
Review loan files against internal processing and underwriting checklists
Maintain and update the loan processing pipeline
Prioritize tasks across multiple deals to ensure timelines are met
Identify missing documentation and proactively follow up with borrowers
Escalate issues or inconsistencies in loan files when necessary
Borrower & Partner Communication
Communicate with borrowers regarding documentation requirements
Explain variations in loan product requirements
Maintain clear, professional communication across borrowers and internal team members
Documentation & File Review
Review financial documentation including bank statements, rent rolls, and operating statements
Ensure loan files meet documentation and compliance standards before underwriting or funding
Maintain organized records and document trails for each deal
Process Improvement & Automation
Contribute to the improvement of our internal processing and underwriting systems
Create and refine loan processing checklists
Develop automation workflows using tools such as Zapier
Create document templates and internal operational tools
Help improve reporting and pipeline visibility
Job Requirements
At least
1 year of experience
in loan processing, lending operations, or a related role (internship experience acceptable)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written communication and professional email etiquette
Strong phone presence and ability to communicate clearly with borrowers
Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously under deadline pressure
Strong reading comprehension and ability to review financial documentation
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
Excel (PMT, PV, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Familiarity with financial concepts such as:
Amortization
Interest calculations
DSCR
Cap rate
Personality Fit This role is best suited for someone who is:
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proactive and able to anticipate issues before they become problems
Comfortable managing a high volume of tasks
Proud of their ability to keep systems and communication extremely organized
Motivated by helping deals move efficiently from application to closing
