Junior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
Assist in preparing
Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
and
Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
Collaborate with business teams, developers, and QA teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements
Perform data analysis using
Excel, SQL, and reporting tools
to derive insights
Support
process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap analysis
Participate in
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
and validate business requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions
Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for business stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation of business processes and system workflows
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
0–2 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or training considered)
Basic understanding of
Business Analysis and SDLC concepts
Hands‑on experience with
Excel and basic SQL
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with tools like
JIRA or Confluence
Basic knowledge of
data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
Understanding of financial services domain (nice to have)
