SUMMARY The Asset Management Analyst supports Asset Managers in the performance of servicing and asset management functions for a portfolio of Life Insurance Company commercial real estate loans with varying requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately and efficiently produce required analyses of operating statements and related financial statements of commercial or multifamily properties, including identifying and researching variances, normalizing and otherwise adjusting the statements, per lender requirements
Review third-party property inspections to verify sufficient maintenance of collateral, identify and report life safety issues, and other items of deferred maintenance
Monitor and track receipt of required operating statements and related financial statements, and third-party property inspections
Assist with monitoring risk including tracking and following up on loan maturities, lease rollover and decreases in occupancy
Support Asset Managers in underwriting borrower consent requests of varying complexity, including lease reviews, reserve draws, easements, partial releases, assumptions, transfers of interest, insurance losses and other loan events
Assist with calculating and coordinating loan payoff requests, including yield maintenance calculations
Perform various servicing activities associated with mortgage payment monitoring
Interact with accounting department for the transfer of cash, processing reserve disbursements, and the maintenance of reserve and other escrow accounts
Required to perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and lender servicing guides/agreements
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
1+ years of experience in finance or accounting preferred
1+ years of commercial mortgage servicing experience preferred
Third party commercial or multifamily servicing experience preferred
Foundational knowledge of mortgage banking, loan servicing, financial statement analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, advanced financial and data manipulation functions in Microsoft Excel preferred
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Excellent customer service skills
JOB EXPECTATIONS
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $60,000 - $70,000
This role is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
