Overview A warm, high-performing Chicago family is seeking an exceptional full-time live-in nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old child.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic household led by a sports owner and CEO family. The family is seeking a long-term nanny who takes pride in their craft—someone who can seamlessly move between educator, caregiver, travel companion, and trusted partner within the home.

The child currently attends half-day school two days per week, increasing to three days in the fall. The nanny will play a central role in shaping her daily rhythm, development, and early learning.

The family travels domestically and internationally throughout the year (both commercial and private), and the nanny should be comfortable and confident accompanying them in a variety of settings—from vacations to business travel and social engagements.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally informed care.

Support key milestones, including potty training, language development, and early learning.

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and independence.

Establish a structured yet loving daily routine.

Support the child seamlessly during entertaining and social environments.

Travel with the family and adapt to new settings with ease and professionalism.

Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.

Maintain organization of the child’s spaces, including wardrobe, toys, and nursery bedroom.

Manage children’s laundry and ensure all related areas are consistently tidy.

Drive the child to school, activities, and outings using the family-provided vehicle.

Act as a thoughtful, proactive partner to parents—anticipating needs and contributing to a smooth household flow.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Comfortable driving a young child (vehicle provided).

Passport-ready and able to travel.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary and Benefits

$35/hour, 60 guaranteed hours/week (~$109K+ annually with upside based on flexibility and performance)

Paid time off and paid holidays

Private live-in accommodations, bedroom + bathroom, plus access to 3rd floor “in law suite” with separate dining, living, bathroom and kitchen area

House car provided for use
