Sales Manager – Mass Retail (Beauty/Fragrance)

Ulric de Varens is an established French fragrance house expanding its footprint in the United States. As we launch our US subsidiary, we are seeking a highly driven National Sales Manager to lead retail expansion across major US chains.

Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial sales leader with proven experience selling into major US mass retail chains (Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.).

This role is responsible for opening national accounts, leading buyer negotiations, and building long-term retail partnerships in the beauty/fragrance category.

This is a growth-critical position with strong development potential.

Key Responsibilities Lead sell-in strategy to major US retailers (mass, drug, grocery) Develop and execute national account plans Build relationships with retail buyers and category managers Negotiate pricing, trade terms, and promotional calendars Oversee forecasts, inventory planning, and distribution expansion Collaborate with marketing to support in-store execution Drive revenue growth and P&L performance

Required Experience 5–10+ years of experience in beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics sales Strong understanding of US mass retail distribution models Experience leading buyer meetings and annual line reviews Ability to build a brand from early-stage market entry Strong negotiation and analytical skills

Ideal Profile “Hunter” mentality with strong closing ability Existing relationships with national retail buyers preferred Experience launching brands in the US market is a strong plus
