About Hemp Well Hemp Well is a pet wellness brand focused on helping pets thrive with hemp-based supplements and functional soft chews. We’re building retail momentum and are looking for a proven independent rep to manage existing accounts and opportunities, open new doors and drive sell-in with Food/Drug/Mass and large-format retail.

The Role You’ll own the front-end of the sales cycle—identifying opportunities, securing meetings, presenting the line, and moving accounts from interest to purchase orders. You’re comfortable navigating category managers, distributor pathways, planograms, compliance requirements, and promotional calendars.

Prospect and pitch Hemp Well to

Food/Drug/Mass

retailers and regional chains (and/or their buying groups)

Manage the full sales process: outreach - meetings - presentations - negotiation - set-up - PO

Collaborate on retailer requirements: item setup, case packs, pricing, margins, promotions, and launch plans

Coordinate with internal team on samples, sell sheets, retailer decks, and follow-ups

Help shape go-to-market: assortment strategy, merchandising, displays, and velocity drivers

Provide monthly pipeline updates and account status notes

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience selling into big box Food/Drug/Mass

(or strong regional chain wins)

Existing relationships with buyers, category managers, or distributors

Understanding of retail math: margins, SRP, trade spend, promo planning, and scan-based performance

Strong communication and presentation skills

Self-starter who thrives in a commission-driven, entrepreneurial environment

Familiarity with pet, wellness, supplements, or functional treats is a plus

Compensation

1099 commission

on new (initial order bonus) and ongoing account sales
