
Regional Sales Manager

This role will lead two regional sales teams operating across
Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri
and will report to the National Sales Manager and the General Managers of the respective operating divisions.

Primary Role Expectations
Strategic Leadership: Promote the company’s mission, purpose, and core values in all activities
Develop strategic direction for the regional sales teams to drive organic growth while maintaining profitability
Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization through goal setting, performance management, and measurable sales metrics
Analyze industry trends to inform pricing strategies and maintain competitive positioning
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Develop and implement sales strategies to expand business in existing markets and penetrate new target segments
Optimize the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation through project completion—including quoting, engineering/design coordination, and project management
Train and develop sales staff through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
Conduct regular sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions with team members
Improve recruiting and onboarding programs for new sales personnel
Provide hands-on support for sales representatives as they generate leads and close deals
Build and expand relationships with key customers and strategic partners
Partner with division leadership to establish annual sales and financial goals
Collaborate with finance leaders to assist with budgeting and revenue planning
Track and manage sales performance, revenue, and margins to improve profitability
Develop and implement a sales optimization plan with monthly targets and progress tracking
Provide regular reporting on sales metrics using CRM and analytics tools
Develop KPIs to better understand customer segments, industry verticals, and geographic markets
Monitor competitors and market trends to drive increased market share and organic growth
Ensure operational and sales process documentation is maintained and updated
Motivate and manage team members to meet operational and financial goals
Foster collaboration across departments and stakeholders to improve processes
Recruit, develop, and evaluate sales staff through structured performance reviews
Address employee concerns, manage performance issues, and recognize achievements
Maintain a safe and positive work environment
Build strong relationships with employees and promote a culture of trust and accountability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of relevant leadership, industry, and business development experience
Strong knowledge of post-frame or similar construction/building systems preferred
Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue and profitability
Experience implementing systems, processes, and performance metrics
Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with strong planning capabilities
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with office productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn ERP systems
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
Travel
Travel required throughout Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa
