What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Serve as the primary point-of-contact for major state, local government, and education (SLED) accounts
Maintain high-level executive relationships and focus on strategic engagement
Sell products and services while growing and retaining assigned SLED accounts
Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing competitive threats proactively
Prepare and deliver formal proposals and presentations to various stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 8+ years of direct major enterprise account management experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably F5 solutions
Familiarity with procurement processes and sales cycles in the public sector
Proven ability to influence and build trust across complex matrix environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in managing the full lifecycle of Cloud, Cybersecurity, and application support deployments
Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
Effective time management and pipeline development skills
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Knowledge of industry trends and government regulations affecting SLED markets
