Lead the Daily Build of Critical Infrastructure Clark's Auburn Hills office is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution on water, wastewater, pump station, and transmission projects across Southeast Michigan.
This role exists because infrastructure work requires disciplined coordination, regulatory awareness, and leadership in environments where service interruptions are not acceptable.
Based in
Auburn Hills , serving municipal clients across
Southeast Michigan
– ideal candidates may live near
Detroit, Ann Arbor, Troy, Novi, or Sterling Heights .
What You'll Do
Lead daily execution of heavy civil and infrastructure work
Coordinate trades around operational utility constraints
Enforce environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance
Manage short‑term planning and Three‑Week Look‑Ahead
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Drive trade accountability and schedule discipline
Support commissioning and regulatory inspections
Build strong relationships with DPW and utility operators
What Success Looks Like In year one, you're confidently coordinating complex infrastructure work without disrupting service or missing regulatory benchmarks.
Over time, you're leading larger systems work and mentoring emerging field leaders.
What You'll Bring
5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial or heavy civil construction
Infrastructure experience preferred
Strong sequencing and operational coordination skills
Knowledge of water/wastewater or utility systems
Firm, fair leadership style
Deep commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Proficiency with Phoenix, ProjectSight, Bluebeam
