The YMCA of Greater Augusta is seeking a
Marketing Intern
to support the Marketing & Communications team while gaining hands‑on experience in nonprofit marketing. This internship offers the opportunity to build real‑world skills in graphic design, social media, and website content while contributing to a mission‑driven organization focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
Assist with creating marketing materials such as flyers, social media posts, and presentations Support social media scheduling and content preparation Help maintain YMCA brand standards Graphic Design
Create graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools Adapt designs for print, email, and digital platforms Website Support
Assist with updating website content through the YMCA CMS Upload program information, event details, and blog posts Support basic SEO updates and ensure content accuracy Administrative Support
Assist with data entry, organizing files, and tracking marketing activities Support project coordination and team initiatives Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in
Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or related field Basic experience with
Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools Strong organizational and communication skills Interest in nonprofit work and the YMCA mission What You'll Gain
Hands‑on marketing and design experience Portfolio‑building work samples Professional mentorship and feedback Exposure to nonprofit marketing and community engagement Internship Structure
This is an
unpaid internship
