Strategic Account Manager (SAM)
in St. Petersburg, Florida to work with a portfolio of key customer accounts to facilitate sustainable, long-term business.
This role will focus on cultivating and maintaining strong, strategic customer relationships while managing and selling to a portfolio of key accounts. The Strategic Account Manager will also support the implementation of global sales and purchasing strategies, ensuring alignment between customer needs and business objectives. Customer Insight & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the structure, culture, and needs of key customers.
Continuous Learning & Development: Manage and facilitate own individual training, including sales, sourcing, and throughput.
ERP Accuracy & Data Integrity: Ensure customer requirements are accurately reflected.
Sales Performance & Profit Growth: Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly gross profit sales goals.
Brand Representation & Value Communication: Represent and communicate the company's culture, values, and value proposition.
Customer Responsiveness & Problem Solving: Provide immediate and reliable solutions to customer needs.
Sales Documentation & CRM Discipline: Complete detailed records of all sales data regarding contracts, quotations, and other customer interactions and annotate all customer touches in ERP systems.
Reporting & Performance Analysis: Create and present periodic reports detailing customer interactions and sales/gross profit totals.
What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?
4-year college degree in a sales-related field.
7+ years of sales experience in the electronics components industry.
Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, account management, CRM.
Substantial product knowledge.
This is an onsite position based in St. Petersburg, FL, placing you at the center of where global collaboration meets operational excellence.
