
Sales Manager

SUMMARY
The Sales Manager will work inside and outside the organization interfacing with existing and new customers. The Sales Manager will address customer requirements with our extensive range of products and capabilities in GTMS (Glass to Metal Seal) and HTCC (High Temperature Co‑fired Ceramic) microelectronic packaging. The candidate will work with the Engineering, Marketing, and Production on new products and opportunities at our multiple locations. Develops a collaborative relationship with top tier accounts to apply a full range of hermetic solutions. Educate high level decision makers on the expanding range of thermal, mechanical, and environmental capabilities of the growing product portfolio. Collaborates with our corporate team to establish a one stop source for specialty hermetic interconnects. Will initiate high value opportunities for the organization and drive activities to secure sales with the support of applications engineers and a robust manufacturing operation. Provides insights on strategies to further expand business and collaborates with Marketing support greater visibility in the overall market of hermetic products. Applies existing customer successes to similar target companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates with pricing, delivery, special quote information, and basic product recommendations from phone or email inquiries.
Applies solutions to a customer’s requirement through existing products, modified products, or helps apply the capabilities of the organization to create new ones.
Coordinates correspondence with key customers on order status.
Works with the Sales Department to target customers and opportunities.
Provides presentations to customers about the company, technology, products, capabilities, and potential solutions.
Drive updates to quote and contract review to speed turnaround and increase margin.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
MS Office familiarity is a must.
Strong Math and Writing skills are preferred.
Must be a motivated and detail-oriented individual, eager to learn and work with others.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Experience with hermetic microelectronic packaging a huge plus (GTMS and HTCC).
Degree in Material Science, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical preferred.
Experience in manufacturing and understanding processing of materials a plus.
Knowledge of microelectronic assembly processes a plus.
