A global electronics manufacturing organization is expanding its presence in the U.S. automotive electronics market and is seeking a
Senior Key Account Manager
to lead strategic customer relationships and drive new program wins.
This role sits at the intersection of
engineering, manufacturing, and commercial strategy , working directly with OEMs and Tier suppliers to bring complex electronic products from concept through production.
This is
not a maintenance account role . Success here means identifying opportunities, aligning global manufacturing capabilities, and converting RFQs into long-term revenue streams.
What Success Looks Like Within the first 12–18 months you will:
Expand revenue with existing automotive electronics accounts through new program awards
Build and manage a strong pipeline of RFQs tied to PCBA / EMS manufacturing programs
Translate customer product roadmaps into manufacturing opportunities across global facilities
Lead cross-functional coordination between engineering, program management, and manufacturing teams
Position your organization as a strategic partner to customers developing next-generation electronic systems
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute account strategies tied to long‑term revenue growth
Manage strategic relationships across engineering, purchasing, and executive levels
Lead RFQ and quotation processes for new electronics manufacturing programs
Coordinate
PCBA NPI, product transfer, and ramp-to-production activities
Provide market intelligence from key accounts to guide strategic manufacturing decisions
Ensure internal alignment across global manufacturing and engineering teams
Background That Tends to Succeed
Experience in
EMS / PCBA electronics manufacturing services
Background in
account management, program management, or technical sales
Proven success winning and growing programs with automotive or industrial electronics customers
Ability to navigate complex customer organizations and manage multi‑site manufacturing relationships
Comfortable leading RFQ processes and coordinating technical teams
