Tutor Doctor is hiring a friendly, outgoing
Community Marketing Ambassador
to help us connect with families throughout the Oceanside and Carlsbad area. This is a flexible, part-time role where you’ll work independently in local neighborhoods, introducing families to our one-on-one tutoring services.
If you enjoy being active, meeting new people, and working on your own schedule, this is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in marketing, communication, and community engagement.
Pay:
$20–$25/hour + performance-based bonuses Schedule:
5–15 hours per week (flexible)
What You’ll Do Community Outreach
Walk residential neighborhoods in Oceanside and Carlsbad
Introduce Tutor Doctor to local families in a friendly, respectful way
Ask for permission to place Tutor Doctor lawn signs
Follow community guidelines and brand standards
Brand Representation
Represent Tutor Doctor professionally in the community
Create positive first impressions with families
Answer basic questions about our services (no sales required)
Activity Tracking
Track outreach activity (doors knocked, conversations, signs placed)
Record sign locations and homeowner permissions
Share feedback to help improve outreach efforts
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with new people
Self‑motivated and reliable
Comfortable working independently
Organized and detail‑oriented
Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
