Job Description Work Schedule:
This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired into this position can work remotely from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process. This is a fast paced environment with heavy call volume.

We are seeking a
Patient Accounts Representative-Bilingual
to:
Use your medical billing knowledge and excellent customer service skills to answer all billing related questions while collecting from patients to ensure patient satisfaction and meeting UW Health’s self-pay collection goals.
Assist patients to ensure swift resolution of outstanding balances by providing information regarding billing practices, policies, and patient billing statements.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management or related field Preferred
Work Experience
Experience with customer service, insurance, finance, or medical office Preferred
UW Health Revenue Cycle experience Preferred
Epic Experience Preferred
