Job Description Work Schedule: This is a 100% FTE position. Training is required between the hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Once fully trained, there is additional schedule flexibility that will be discussed in the interview. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. When on site you will work at 7974 UW Health Ct. in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a

Reimbursement Representative

to:

Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances.

Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

1 year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service-related field. Required

Revenue Cycle (healthcare business, financial or insurance) experience.

Epic experience

Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT, ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500).
