Position Purpose:
Become a key member of our energetic team as a Sales and Customer Engagement Associate. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service, engage with customers to understand their unique needs, and provide tailored solutions. You will: Gain in-depth knowledge about our extensive product range using provided resources, allowing you to offer complete project solutions to customers. Welcome and assist customers, assess their needs, recommend the right products, and successfully close sales with each interaction. Familiarize yourself with the functions of adjoining departments to enhance customer assistance. Keep your assigned areas clean, organized, and safe to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience. Collaborate effectively with your Department Supervisor and team members across all departments. This role may involve responsibilities in specific store departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental. Responsibilities: Ensure a safe shopping environment by complying with all safety policies and protocols. Complete necessary safety training and promptly report or resolve any hazardous conditions. Engage with various sales positions, including Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist. Location: Latham, NY
