Position Summary The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports marketing and communications efforts for The Arc Minnesota and Arc’s Value Village. This role focuses on content creation, digital marketing, and consistent messaging across platforms, including social media, email, and web.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early‑career marketing or communications professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to support mission-driven work through accessible and inclusive communications.

Key Responsibilities

Create accessible, engaging content for social media, email, website, blog, print, and events.

Manage and maintain a content calendar across digital platforms.

Update website content, event calendars, and landing pages using WordPress.

Support marketing campaigns for programs, events, fundraising, outreach, and Arc’s Value Village.

Design digital and print materials, including signage, handouts, and event collateral.

Build and send email communications such as newsletters, announcements, and fundraising appeals.

Track and analyze social media, email, and website performance to improve engagement and reach.

Coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Maintain brand consistency, accessibility standards, and accuracy using established review processes.

Provide occasional evening or weekend support for events.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and visual communication skills.

Experience creating content for digital and print platforms.

Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadlines.

Ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day decisions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, accessible content.

Experience with design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, and website updates.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment and adjust hours as needed for events or projects.

Commitment to the mission of The Arc Minnesota and to inclusive, accessible communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.

Experience creating or editing short‑form video content.

Experience with email platforms such as MailerLite or similar tools.

Experience with social media scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms.

Experience reviewing digital analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta insights).

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary of $50,000 annually
