Community Partnerships & Campus Outreach Lead (Startup | Equity Role)

Venue Platform, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, United States

Part-time or full-time initially → full-time as the company scales

About Venue Venue is a

real-time engagement platform designed for physical communities — campuses, malls, resorts, and residential communities.

Through Venue, users discover

what’s happening around them right now

via a live map of events, activities, student life, clubs, offers, and local businesses — all updated in real time.

Our goal is simple: bring the real-world activity of communities onto a platform designed specifically for them.

We currently have:

✔ MVP approximately

95% built

iOS and Android apps

in late-stage testing

Launch partners

in the college and resort sectors

✔ A defined

revenue model based on subscriptions, advertising, and revenue sharing

We are now preparing for

initial launch and early community onboarding.

The Role We are looking for a

Community Partnerships & Campus Outreach Lead

to help introduce Venue to colleges and real-world communities as we launch.

This role focuses on

relationship building and community onboarding , not social media marketing.

You will work directly with the founder and help shape how Venue launches across its first communities and campuses.

What You’ll Do Your work will focus on helping real communities begin using Venue.

Responsibilities include:

Reaching out to

colleges, student organizations, and campus activity coordinators

Building relationships with

community administrators, event organizers, and program managers

Helping partner communities

onboard events and programming onto the platform

Identifying and contacting

decision makers through LinkedIn, email, and other outreach channels

Coordinating with early partner communities during launch to drive activity and engagement

Providing

market feedback and user insights

directly to the founder and engineering team

This role is hands-on and entrepreneurial — focused on

real outreach, real partnerships, and real adoption .

You Might Be a Great Fit If You

Are comfortable reaching out to people and building relationships quickly

Enjoy working with

students, community leaders, and event organizers

Have an interest in

startups and early-stage platforms

Like working in environments where

ideas move from concept to execution quickly

Are excited about helping launch a product that connects real communities

Experience in any of the following areas can be helpful:

Campus leadership (student government, clubs, events)

University administration or student engagement

Community management or partnership development

Event coordination or community programming

Compensation This is an early-stage

equity-first role

designed for someone who wants to help bring a new platform to market and participate in its long-term growth.

Equity

1.0% equity (total) Equity will vest over

48 months

under a standard startup vesting schedule with a

6-month cliff :

No equity vests during the first

6 months

0.125% vests at the 6-month mark

The remaining

0.875% vests monthly over the following 42 months

This structure ensures long-term alignment while recognizing meaningful contribution after the initial milestone period.

Early Cash Participation As Venue begins generating subscription revenue from partner communities, the role may also receive

cash compensation tied to early traction and onboarding activity .

This may include:

Launch bonuses

tied to successful onboarding of partner communities

Performance-based incentives

tied to early adoption milestones

Participation in

revenue generated from early partner communities

Specific incentive structures will be defined as the platform begins onboarding communities and generating subscription revenue.

Role Progression The expected progression for this role is:

Phase 1 – Pre-launch / Early adoption

Equity-based

Focus on community partnerships and onboarding early adopters

Phase 2 – Post-launch traction

Transition to

salary + equity

as Venue reaches defined revenue or funding milestones

Expanded responsibility across partnerships, community growth, and platform expansion

Why Join Now Venue is being built to help communities surface

what’s happening in the real world around them

— not just online conversations.

Joining at this stage means working directly on

early growth of a platform before it scales , with the opportunity to help shape how it expands across campuses and communities.

If you’re excited about helping launch something new and seeing your work translate directly into real-world adoption, we’d love to hear from you.
