Overview
We are seeking a talented and highly organized Marketing Communications Specialist II to join our team on a temporary basis. This role plays a critical part in supporting integrated marketing and communications initiatives that advance business objectives and strengthen our corporate brand. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong proficiency in corporate writing and excel at adapting tone for multiple audiences.
Responsibilities
Strategic Messaging & Campaign Support:
Collaborate with Marketing Communications leadership and business units to plan, develop, and implement messaging for integrated campaigns, product awareness, and corporate initiatives.
Ensure messaging aligns with brand strategy and business goals, maintaining consistency across channels.
Support execution of programs that increase brand visibility and strengthen reputation.
Internal & Executive Communications:
Develop internal communications to inform and engage employees around company strategy and culture.
Support executive communications including leadership announcements, speeches, emails, and talking points.
Serve as editor for formal business communications, assuring quality and tone.
Content Development & Writing:
Write, review, and edit marketing and corporate communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, articles, social media, and thought leadership content.
Generate and revise marketing collateral for web, print, presentations, and other media channels.
Project Stakeholder Support:
Manage multiple communications projects while balancing timelines, priorities, and stakeholder needs.
Collaborate with external agencies or vendors as needed.
Provide general administrative and project coordination support as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing communications, corporate communications, or a related role.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in internal communications and executive-level writing.
Strong editing skills with meticulous attention to detail, voice, and tone.
Experience supporting or managing social media channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into effective communications.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to deliver high-quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
Avid consumer of world news, industry trends, and communications best practices.
