Social Media Marketing Lead
This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.
Summary This role is responsible for leading social marketing strategy and execution to build audience engagement, brand affinity, and large-scale fandoms. The position plays a key role in shaping campaign narratives, leveraging cultural insights, and driving impactful social conversations that support overall marketing goals.
Our Ideal Candidate
7+ years of experience in social marketing, digital marketing, or campaign strategy
Passion for entertainment, film, and pop culture with a strong foundation in storytelling and audience engagement
Proficient in social media platforms and analytics tools, with strong creative strategy and content development skills
Familiar with multi-channel marketing campaigns, influencer/creator partnerships, and digital distribution strategies
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, agencies, and creative partners
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable working with high-profile stakeholders, including talent and executives, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Job Description In this role, you will lead social marketing strategy and execution for film campaigns, driving audience engagement and brand growth.
You’ll partner with cross-functional marketing teams, creative agencies, and external partners to develop and execute integrated campaigns. This includes defining target audiences, developing social-first creative, managing influencer and creator partnerships, and overseeing content distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels.
You will also manage the full lifecycle of social campaigns, including launching marketing assets, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing strategies based on data insights. Additionally, you will ensure brand consistency, monitor competitor activity, and support internal teams by providing guidance, training, and best practices to elevate social marketing efforts across the organization.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in entertainment marketing, digital media, or film industry campaigns
Experience managing agencies, working with talent, and executing large-scale marketing initiatives

The pay for this W-2 position is $90.67 per hour
