Your New Role… This Associate supports the Home Team in management of category initiatives, revenue plan and execution, including quarterly forecasting. The role assists in conducting white space analysis, researching potential partners & brainstorming new business opportunities.

Assist Home Team in managing category initiatives, revenue plan and execution

Support preparation of quarterly forecasts, accruals, and annual budgets by generating forecast templates, making outreach to licensees, following up on data collection, analyzing, and making recommendations

Collaborate with Home Team, Licensees, and WBCP Legal by creating, submitting, and tracking merchandise contracts; initiating NDAs and import authorization or customs letters for Licensees

Track product sell-in, launches, and performance

Facilitate process for products to be featured on WBD social media posts

Maintain internal systems and stakeholders updated with licensee contacts and product launch timelines; update event attendee lists

Develop timely category updates and communicate information to broad internal and external audiences on behalf of the team

Maintain sample inventory and logistics

Work with Product Development, Marketing, and Publicity to kick off collaborations and project manage through launch

Conduct white space analysis, research potential partners, brainstorm opportunities; manage subcategories

Lead organization of shared files and tools (Sharepoint, Airtable, and other platforms)

Maintain partner contact lists and data integrity within internal systems

Assist in preparing presentation materials for external and internal presentations

Identify and apply competitive and industry key learnings and trends

Qualifications & experience… Work Experience

2+ years of work experience in Licensing industry, a licensor, vendor, retailer or entertainment environment preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required or preferred

Knowledge/Skills

Basic licensing industry knowledge with intellectual curiosity

Ability to take direction and assist team in executing strategic and operational plans

Basic understanding of financial forecasts and budgets

Strong collaboration and partnership skills

Proven ability to communicate effectively and tactfully cross-functionally with persons on all levels, in person, in written communication, via phone, via video conference, etc.

Strong organizational/leadership and planning skills required

Ability to create pitch/presentations

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills in addition to strong project management

Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy

Well organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skills

Ability to work well under time pressure and time constraints

Curious, self-starter, optimistic and dependable

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
