We are currently seeking a skilled Utilities Foreman to join our team. This role serves as the field supervisor for our utility crew, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in utility projects, along with the ability to operate heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise wet utility crews in the installation of sanitary sewer, waterline, and storm sewer systems.
Direct daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
Serve as the primary on-site leader, coordinating with project management, inspectors, subcontractors, and design teams.
Enforce OSHA and project-specific safety requirements; conduct daily safety briefings and crew meetings.
Plan daily work activities, develop short-term lookahead schedules, and manage crew productivity.
Operate and oversee the operation of heavy equipment, ensuring precision and safe execution of work.
Maintain organized and efficient job sites, including documentation of existing conditions.
Monitor material usage, equipment needs, and request utility locates as required.
Complete and submit accurate daily reports, timesheets, and production tracking.
Inspect equipment daily, ensure proper maintenance, and report repair needs promptly.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in wet utilities
Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of sanitary sewer, waterline, and storm sewer systems.
Competency in OSHA utility trenching safety requirements and federal, state, and municipal codes related to wet utilities construction.
Read and interpret plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer and electronic communication skills are required
OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s license and clean MVR required
Willingness to work overtime as projects demand
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Physical & Work Environment Expectations
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Work outdoors in variable weather conditions
Navigate active construction sites and uneven terrain
Work up to 10 hour shifts when required
Wear required PPE at all times
