SEASONAL - Marketing & Communications Intern Pikes Peak (PT Internship)
About the Job
In this role you will support day-to-day marketing efforts with a focus on social media, content creation, and digital storytelling. This role is ideal for a creative, self-motivated individual who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera and is excited about capturing and sharing experiences along the Pikes Peak Highway.
Job Type Seasonal Internship
Work Schedule Tuesday, Thursday, Friday approximately 20 hours per week 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. May include some weekends.
Work location 5069 Pikes Peak Highway, Cascade, CO 80809
This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association).
Approximate dates of employment will be May - October. Scheduled hours will vary based on department needs. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.
You will:
Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Capture photo and video content on-site, including bi‑weekly trips to Pikes Peak
Perform light photo editing using tools such as Photoshop or Canva
Edit short‑form and long‑form video content, preferably using Adobe Premiere
Appear on camera as needed for social media videos and promotional content
Write engaging copy for:
Social media posts
Video and voice‑over scripts
Marketing and informational emails
Support special campaigns, events, and promotions as needed
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas
The ideal candidate will:
Have strong written communication skills
Be comfortable being on camera and recording voiceovers
Be creative, adaptable, and willing to try new ideas

Interest or coursework in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field
