About the Role We are seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead and oversee all pharmacy operations within an acute care setting. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities Direct and manage all pharmacy department operations to align with organizational goals Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical protocols Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including HIPAA Oversee staffing functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development Manage departmental budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation
Qualifications Active Utah Pharmacy License or ability to obtain prior to start Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred Prior acute care hospital experience required Strong leadership, operational, and regulatory knowledge
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $146,900 to $198,000 $20,000 sign-on bonus Partial relocation assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Tuition assistance and loan support programs Paid time off and employee wellness programs
