This role plays a key part in driving process improvement across departments, branches, and customer engagements while embodying Wagner's commitment to operational excellence and customer value. Pay Rate: $64,132.23 - $88,238.84 Annually Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience. Essential Functions: Lead and support internal continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and customer experience enhancement Facilitate cross-functional improvement workshops (e.g., Kaizen, value stream mapping) Translate Caterpillar's corporate objectives into actionable Wagner-specific initiatives Manage and report on CAT Excellence metric compliance and improvement roadmaps Collaborate with service, rental, and product support teams to execute projects for mining customers Support CI efforts that directly improve uptime, productivity, and satisfaction for strategic mining accounts Develop KPIs and dashboards to track project outcomes and drive accountability Prepare executive-level presentations and summaries for project updates and results Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions Coordinate change management efforts to support the adoption of new processes or tools Maintain project documentation and continuous improvement libraries Travel to branch and mine sites as needed (up to 25%) Other duties as assigned by manager. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field 2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, or operational analysis Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies (certification preferred) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills Prior experience in construction equipment, mining, or heavy machinery industry preferred Physical Demands & Competencies: Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands, and hearing Lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds Travel to customer sites, including mine locations and branch facilities Data entry, analysis, reading/writing, organizational, communication & math skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously Work Environment: Office setting with periodic on-site visits to branches and mine locations Occasional loud noise and exposure to outdoor work conditions during site visits Other Duties: Job offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings, which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit-for-duty testing, and any other job-related screenings.
