The Rental Equipment Sales Representative’s primary purpose is to generate revenue by renting CAT and allied equipment, selling non-hour metered allied equipment and merchandise, and selling Wagner Rents equipment service capabilities in a manner that aligns with the company vision of working as “One Professional Team.” The role includes developing and enhancing sales coverage within a designated territory consistent with Wagner Rents’ customer satisfaction philosophy. Must meet or exceed monthly budgeted rental revenue, consumable revenue, and growth of territory market share goals. Key duties include: Prepare daily sales calls/progress reports Develop weekly sales forecasts Manage business-related expenses Coordinate with other Wagner field personnel and departments affecting sales responsibilities Respond to customer calls at all times Research new leads and sales prospects Conduct face-to-face cold calls and develop new accounts within the designated territory Service current rental and sales customers’ needs Maintain current knowledge on all products and services for sale and rent by Wagner Rents Other duties as assigned by manager Pay and Location
Pay Rate: Base Salary + Commission. Pay is based upon education and experience. Location: 1005 NW County Road, Hobbs, NM 88240 Essential Functions

High School Diploma or GED Some College or Trade School Preferred 3+ years sales experience; rental sales experience preferred but not required 1+ years administrative/clerical experience 3+ years customer service experience Physical Demands & Competencies
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands and hearing Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication and math skills Safety and product knowledge Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc. Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel Work Environment
