
ServiceNow Experience Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Experience Architect to serve as the strategic connector between business stakeholders and IT partners. This contractor will lead experience design efforts across ServiceNow initiatives, applying Human Centered Design (HCD) principles to architect scalable, user centric solutions that align with enterprise business goals. This role requires deep experience in experience strategy, research, ServiceNow UX, and cross functional leadership.
Act as the experience architecture lead for ServiceNow initiatives
Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams
Lead experience benchmarking, usability testing, and validation efforts
Conduct user and channel behavior analysis to inform experience strategy
Perform qualitative and quantitative research to generate actionable insights
Architect and maintain personas, journey maps, and experience blueprints
Identify experience gaps and perform root cause analysis
Collaborate on experience blueprinting and value modeling to maximize solution impact
Facilitate design thinking workshops and stakeholder co creation sessions
Synthesize insights and present experience recommendations to business and IT partners
Create and iterate on storyboards and experience concepts
Support application testing, documentation updates, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with technology standards and alignment with enterprise strategy
Provide strategic recommendations for ServiceNow experience enhancements
Pay rate: $40-$55/hr based on experience

Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a ServiceNow Experience Architect, HCD Lead, or senior UX/HCD practitioner supporting ServiceNow platforms Deep expertise in Human-Centered Design methodologies, including design thinking, journey mapping, experience blueprinting, and insight synthesis Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, and UX best practices Extensive experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research Hands-on leadership of usability testing, experience benchmarking, and validation efforts Ability to translate research insights into experience strategies and solution architectures Experience developing personas, journey maps, storyboards, and experience frameworks Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business needs and technical feasibility Experience facilitating design thinking workshops and co creation sessions Hands-on experience with Figma Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar) Ability to work independently, applying advanced analytical and problem solving skills in complex environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience Background as a Senior Business Systems Analyst or Experience Architect in enterprise IT environments Experience with IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Experience with value modeling and measuring experience impact Prior leadership of application testing, documentation, and process improvement initiatives Experience influencing or defining experience standards and best practices Recognized subject matter expertise within previous organizations
