At least 1 years of experience
As a Packager, you are the final line of quality control before our steel reaches the customer. Your daily "to-do" list will include:
Responsibilities Securing Loads:
Using banding equipment, shrink wrap, and specialized packaging tools to secure steel coils or sheets. Palletizing:
Building skids and ensuring all finished goods are placed safely on pallets. Labeling:
Verifying orders and applying accurate shipping tags to ensure the right product gets to the right place. Quality Checks:
Checking for surface defects or scratches to ensure were shipping only the best quality steel. Qualifications Reliability:
You show up on time and ready to work. 1st shift moves fast, and the team counts on you. Physical Stamina:
Youre comfortable standing for long periods and can lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly. Detail-Oriented:
You can read a tape measure and double-check order numbers with precision. Safety Mindset:
You follow all PPE requirements and look out for the safety of your coworkers. Experience:
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a great attitude!
