Position Summary:

The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day interactions with customers, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between the customer and internal departments. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the production and delivery of fabricated metal products. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact with customers. Manage customer transactions accurately and on time, including order and quote entry, and resolution of billing, shipping, quality, and change requests. Support customers and strengthen relationships. Advocate for customers while aligning with company priorities. Monitor job flow through our production software and communicate with team members and customers to ensure timely status updates and on-time delivery. Contribute to the achievement of department and/or company goals as requested. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 25+ years in customer service, account management, or order processing Experience handling high-volume customer interactions (calls, email, or both) Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Highly organized and excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, actively contributing to achieving company goals in sales, quality, and on-time delivery. Must be dependable. Preferred Requirements: 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Epicor) Environment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation: This position is carried out in a professional office environment and as such has the following physical work requirements: This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines This is largely a sedentary role; however occasional lifting, bending, and standing would be required.
