About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Senior Debt team, with a primary focus on investing in first lien senior secured loans to support sponsor-led buyouts. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of senior secured loans, including first lien, unitranche, and junior debt facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of credit, both in the underwriting and portfolio monitoring process, and the ability to provide oversight and direction on new investment underwriting. The Vice President will also be involved in facilitating negotiations on investment terms, communicating financial performance analysis, and making investment recommendations based on industry trends.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have 6-8+ years of experience in investment banking, direct lending, structured credit, or a similar field, with a preference for those with experience in sponsor-backed direct lending. The role demands the ability to manage multiple live transactions, structure and negotiate legal documentation, and oversee financial models.
