Job Description: We are searching for the best talent for Director, Strategy & Performance Management, located in New Brunswick, NJ, Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ, Spring House, PA, Horsham, PA, Jacksonville, FL. In Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) we take care of all J&J buildings around the world providing end-to-end services from Real Estate, Engineering & Strategic Project Delivery to Facilities Management. The Director of Strategy & Performance Management is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organization's strategic vision, establishing key performance indicators, and ensuring that initiatives are aligned with overarching business objectives. This role owns how the organization sets strategy, translates it into critical metrics/targets, runs performance reviews and planning cycles. This role works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. You will establish a robust performance management ecosystem, oversee portfolio-level analytics, lead transformation programs, and ensure data-driven decision making that improves uptime, reduces cost, enhances safety, and elevates service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate corporate strategy into an elite, concrete, portfolio-wide strategy for E&PS Establish clear linkages between strategy, annual plan, capital budget, and the PMO governance. Lead annual strategy cycle infusing new insights and ensuring connection with the sectors Re-imagine key deliverables through AI & system automation to simplify insight generation Design and operate a unified next-gen performance measurement system (critical metrics, targets, dashboards, scorecards) across maintenance, operations, reliability, energy, safety, and tenant service. Critical Thinking: Connect daily operations to long-term portfolio goals and value creation. Apply data-driven insights and market intelligence to inform future decision-making. Stay informed on industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly to achieve excellence in the overall portfolio performance. Create best-in-class Strategy Council to bring together the full strategic picture and move to execution. Identify and lead continuous improvement programs to reduce costs, improve asset reliability, shorten response times, and optimize lifecycle costs.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Degrees in Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master's degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required: 10+ years of experience in strategy, performance management, market intelligence or organizational leadership Ability to connect in with MT & IM strategy leads and turn that into a tangible business execution work within E&PS Excellent connections in the external business environment and ability to turn competitive intelligence into strategy Proven track record of developing and delivering strategic initiatives at a senior level Strong analytical skills with proficiency in KPI development, data analysis, and visualization tools Communication: Clear storytelling; effective written and verbal communication with non-technical audiences Adaptability: Able to thrive in a complex environment with shifting priorities Collaboration: Ability to build strong partnerships across Engineering, Facilities, Finance, and Operations Change Leadership: Able to drive adoption of new processes, data practices, and performance rituals Visionary Leadership: Ability to articulate a compelling vision for an End-to-End capital framework that inspires and engages partners at all levels of the organization Strategic Problem solver: Proven experience in developing and implementing long-term strategies that align with business objectives and that drive improved performance Business & Financial Competence: Excellent business financial and cost structure understanding and experience, including business case development and ability to partner on network assessments and value chain requirements Innovation Mentality: Proven track record to employ new technologies and trends to drive transformation and continuous improvement in strategy and execution

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $150,000.00 - $258,750.00 Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
