Job Details Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.

Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.

Monitor internal controls, identifying any potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.

Supervise a team of financial staff, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring they comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems.

Participate in audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Stay abreast of industry trends and legislative changes that may impact our financial operations.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or a professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Construction industry.

Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

Proven experience in monitoring internal controls and managing risks.

Previous experience in a supervisory role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.

Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

A solid understanding of financial regulations and standards in the Mortgage industry.

The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to work effectively under pressure.
