COO The Role
Our Client Services team is seeking an experienced Account Director to help lead the strategic efforts of our client engagements. With a strong understanding of the digital landscape and integrated marketing, you will support strategic direction, guide internal teams, and ensure work meets high-level business objectives. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in client services within a fast-paced digital agency setting, including entertainment, gaming, and brand sectors. You are comfortable processing complex ideas and articulating solutions to clients, collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and driving measurable results. In this role, you will lead the strategic efforts for a portfolio of accounts. Responsibilities include fostering meaningful relationships, identifying 360 opportunities, and managing the financial health of your accounts. You will work closely with Creative, Strategy, and Finance teams to ensure we execute seamlessly on client objectives. Because this role focuses heavily on account evolution, a strong understanding of both creative strategy and analytics metrics is essential. Here’s What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnership & Growth: Serve as a visionary leader for a portfolio of agency accounts, building client relationships based on trust, dependability, and a deep understanding of their business objectives. Act as a strategic partner by providing insightful creative strategies and innovative campaign ideas that help clients like Prime Video, Disney, and Warner Bros. achieve maximum results from their marketing spend. Identify and secure actionable 360 opportunities across the UNFOLD network to organically grow existing accounts and garner new business opportunities. Utilize analytics and "Big Tech" metrics to drive data-informed decisions that yield measurable results for your clients. Operational & Financial Excellence
Take the lead on conveying complex client needs to internal teams, ensuring UNFOLD executes with the utmost attention to detail and seamless project delivery. Work closely with the Finance team to oversee account revenue and profitability, ensuring accurate billing, budgeting, and forecasting. Navigate tight deadlines, quick turnarounds, and sudden roadblocks with a collected, solution-oriented mindset to maintain campaign momentum. Stay ahead of industry trends and platform shifts to continually enhance client deliverables and maintain the agency’s competitive edge. Leadership & Team Mentorship
Provide mentorship and coaching within client teams to instill practices of exceptional service and a culture of over-delivering for our partners. Lead, manage, and motivate collaborative internal teams to deliver high-impact work that shapes culture and drives conversation. Represent UNFOLD with the utmost professionalism and tact, commanding the presence of a room during high-stakes presentations. Foster a collaborative environment built around delighting the client and maintaining a standard of excellence across all touchpoints. Here’s What It Takes
5-7 years of client services experience within a fast-paced digital or social agency setting. Proven experience leading and managing collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver maximum results. Direct experience working within the entertainment, gaming, and brand landscape. Successful track record of sales success in terms of growing existing accounts and securing new business relationships. Solid experience formulating and delivering strategic account strategies and long-term roadmaps. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and command the presence of a room. Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset. Naturally wired to go above and beyond to deliver for the client, including availability for after-hours or weekend needs as required by the nature of the industry. Willingness to travel as needed to support client relationships and agency growth. What We Offer
