Hybrid Real Estate Paralegal – Chicago, IL Salary:

$40–$70 per hour

Job Details Our Chicago office provides sophisticated legal services to national and global clients while maintaining a collaborative, team‑oriented culture. The role is full‑time hybrid, supporting commercial and financial real‑estate transactions.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all aspects of real‑estate transactions, from drafting contracts to final closing.

Prepare, review, and revise legal documents such as deeds, leases, purchase agreements, and closing documents.

Conduct title searches, prepare title commitments and title insurance policies.

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.

Coordinate and manage deadlines to ensure transactions are completed on time.

Liaise with clients, real‑estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.

Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Maintain UCC filings and monitor any changes that may affect clients.

Perform administrative tasks such as file management and document control.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a real‑estate paralegal.

Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program or equivalent preferred.

Proficient in real‑estate transaction software and Microsoft Office Suite.

In‑depth knowledge of real‑estate law, transactions, and the UCC.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
