Salesforce Field Service (FSL) Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Salesforce Field Service (FSL) Architect
to lead discovery and design sessions with clients, ensuring alignment of business processes and field service requirements. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Field Service, advanced architectural skills, and the ability to drive strategic discussions with senior stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead discovery and design workshops with client senior executives and chief architects to understand business processes and field service needs.
Define optimal scheduling strategies by configuring and deploying complex scheduling policies, work rules, and service objectives within Enhanced Scheduling and Optimization (ESO).
Design and architect integrations with external systems (e.g., third‑party mapping services) to support field service operations.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring configurations and customizations (Apex, LWC, Flows) adhere to architectural standards and FSL best practices.
Ensure implemented solutions are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for large data volumes.
Work hands‑on with FSL configuration, including data models (Work Orders, Service Appointments, Service Resources), territories, and capacity‑based resource planning.
Required Qualifications
Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification (mandatory); Advanced Field Service accreditation is a plus.
15+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 5–8 years as a Solution or Technical Architect.
Proven experience with 3–4 end‑to‑end FSL implementations.
Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and specifically FSL.
Deep expertise in Enhanced Scheduling and Optimization (ESO), including configuration of scheduling policies, service objectives, and resource priority settings.
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead workshops and drive architectural discussions with senior client executives.

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000p.a - $175000p.a, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
